TIME NEEDED: Approximately 10 to 20 minutes

Scotch® Brand Supplies:

  • Wrapping paper in two colours/patterns
  • Stapler
  • Coloured cord or thin ribbon
  • Gift tag

1200x1200_Champagne_Step1Wrap your box. Using Scotch™ Precision Ultra Edge Scissors, cut your wrapping paper to size. Wrap the paper around the box and secure in place with your choice of tape :Scotch® GiftWrap TapeScotch® Double-Sided Tape or Scotch® Magic™ Tape. Test out each tape to find which one works best for the paper you are using. Scotch® GiftWrap Tape features a unique satin finish that disappears on most gift wrap papers. Scotch® Double-Sided Tape is coated with a permanent adhesive on both sides so it will be hidden between the layers of wrapping paper. Scotch® Magic™ Tape is the original matte-finish, invisible tape; it’s best for matte-finish wrapping papers.

Make your fan. From the second sheet of gift wrap, cut a strip of paper using your. Scotch™ Precision Ultra Edge Scissors.  To make the fan, cut the paper to be 3 by 12 inches. To make a smaller fan, cut a thinner and shorter strip; for a larger fan, cut the paper wider and longer. Next, fold the strip into an accordion, pinch and staple together one end. Spread out the other end to create the fan.

1200x1200_Champagne_Step3Attach the fan. Tie the cord around your wrapped box, and attach the gift tag. Then tie the cord in a bow around the stapled end of the fan to hold it in place.
