Choose your colour scheme and select your product. If you would like to replicate the design we have here, simply refer to list above. This how-to guide will assume you’ve selected the items in this particular design.

Door_Step2Measure tape for left-side.  Have all of your tapes handy and begin to measure. Start by choosing one colour and using your cutting mat as your measurement tool. Apply your tape on a 45 degree angle and cut two-inch strips. Cut approximately 8-10 for the left-side of your geometric design and put aside. Repeat this for the reminder of your colours, besides Scotch® Expressions Masking Tape, Mint Mosaic.

Measure tape for the right-side. For this step, you are repeating the previous step except you’re lining up your tapes on a 135 degree angle to create the right-side of the door design. Create approximately 8-10 two-inch strips for each colour, besides Scotch® Expressions Masking Tape in Mint Mosaic, and set aside. These piece can be easily re-positioned.

Line it up. Start on the left-hand side of your door and apply your first piece of Scotch® Expressions Masking Tape in Tangerine. Make sure the right side of your tape piece has a 90 degree angle and is completely straight. This is important as it’s the foundation for the remainder of your tapes to line up against. Continue by placing a piece of Scotch® Expressions Masking Tape in Fuchsia directly above it. Follow the same pattern as in the picture. After a row of colours is completed, finish off by completing the right side and then repeat the steps again. Door_Step3Pattern complete. You will notice that you have space to fill below and above the pattern. To complete the design, use the Scotch® Expressions Masking Tape, Mint Mosaic. Use the cutting mat to guide your measurements and to cut pieces,  before applying to your door.
