Geometric Wall Art for Teens

You can really make a big bold impact in a space by creating unique wall art. This geometric pattern is easy to recreate, and acts as an alternative to wallpaper. We’ve even taken the pattern over floating shelves incorporating them into the room through the wall pattern!

Select colours and patterns that reflect your rooms décor and get that custom look!

1200x1200_BoysRoomWall_Step2Create squares. Here we’ve started with one large rectangle approximately 42 inches tall by 24 inches wide. This first rectangle is positioned to appear to ‘link’ to the furniture in front. Continue adding rectangular shapes of various sizes by overlapping each with the last. Where each shape meets the previous rectangle trim the lines so one overlaps on top and the other is trimmed to appear to link underneath.
1200x1200_BoysRoomWall_Step3Add movement. For this design we added arrows following the flow of the randomly placed rectangles to create visual interest and movement. To create the dotted ends of the arrows simple use your utility knife to trim away a few sections.
1200x1200_BoysRoomWall_Step4EXPERT TIP: The rectangles can also act as frames for pictures, and images and posters! Plan your wall out using your favourites.
