The Scotch® Brand Team… xox
SKILL LEVEL: Easy
TIME NEEDED: Approximately 10-15 minutes
Scotch® Brand Supplies:
You can buy these items at a Staples store near you.
• Sharp knife
• Straightedge Ruler
• Cutting mat
• Black ceramic vase planter
• Plant for planter
Plan and prep. Line up your supplies and clean off your ceramic vase to rid it of any dust or grease marks to prepare for the project.
Line up your tape. Grab your Scotch ® Expressions Washi Tape and tear off a number of pieces to line up beside eachother along the ruler portion of the cutting mat.
Cut. Using your sharp knife and straightedge ruler, draw lines through each piece of tape piece so each measures approximately two inches (or whichever your desired length). Make sure to do this for all the tape strips.
Place. Because Scotch® Expressions Washi Tape can be easily re-positioned, remove one cut piece from the cutting mat and place it vertically upon your ceramic vase. Choose a second piece of tape from your cutting mat and place it horizontally across the first piece. Now you have your cross and you can replicate the same process to achieve the look in the pictures!
You’re done! A simple and clean way to add some personality to your home.
